A Day in Grapevine, the Christmas Capital of Texas
Holidays at The Historic Downtown Grapevine, TX are at another level! Known as The Christmas Capital of Texas®, it features more than 1,400 fun family events that includes animated Christmas decorations, shopping, and live performances everyday which makes sure to keep you entertained your whole visit. Located on Main Street, you can walk up and down the street and find something for everybody in your family.
Grapevine City Hall
We watched the light show at the Grapevine City Hall! The lights are synchronized with the music playing for all to hear and t was super fun to watch. The kids loved it! City hall is located at 200 Main St, Grapevine, TX 76051
Palace Arts Center
Right by the City Hall is the Palace Arts Center, built in 1940, is a beautiful treasure in downtown Grapevine and it features concerts, plays and right on time for the holidays, they are showing classic Christmas movies like The Santa Clause, Charlie Brown Christmas, Home Alone, and many other classic. Kissing Booth and More
Crossing the street from the Grapevine City Hall, you will find an area with so many beautiful Christmas decorations, this area is perfect for FAMILY PICTURES. I love the different decorations on the trees (Like there is a tree for every taste) and of course their very famous kissing booth! To capture the best pictures, visit this area 30 minutes before sunset.

Chez Fabbien French restaurant
If you keep walking south you will find the Chez Fabbien French restaurant, they have the BEST hot chocolate and some delicious pastries. You can seat inside or their outside sitting (which I recommend) so you can enjoy all the beautiful Christmas lights, sights, and sounds.

Rocket Fizz
We did some Candy shopping at the super fun Rocket Fizz, they have a HUGE selection of candy and the most creative bottled sodas! Some of our family members are going to be surprised to find S’mores, root beer and bacon sodas and a huge assortment of candies and memorabilia, including a picture booth.

Main Street Toyland at Town Square Gazebo
Right outside the candy store you will find Main Street TOYLAND, this area is fully decorated with Christmas decor and lights. Toyland features a playground with wooden trains, cars and you can even take pictures with their Santa statue. My favorite part is their beautiful Christmas three with thousands of lights synchronized with classic Holiday music songs from the Grinch to Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, get ready to spend a long time here, my daughter didn’t want to leave!
Good Things for all Seasons
We also shopped for some unique Christmas décor at Good Things for all Seasons, you can find fun and original Christmas décor. They also have a village exhibit, we loved to see how they decorated the many displays the with the many ornaments and figurines they have for sale there, it was just magical!

Napolis Italian Market
We finish our night having some gelato at Napolis Italian Market, we loved the variety of flavors and of course they were delicious. I had their Caramel brownie gelato and was exquisite!

The Historic Downtown of Grapevine is the best place to tour around, take pictures with the family, let the kids play and eat at their many restaurants around. Grapevine is also well-known for their famous wineries, museums and dining options.
